Christmas, New Years, Some Hopes and a Word…

Christmas and New Years was a very quiet time this year for my little family.  The end of 2014 was a bit of a rough ride so we cuddled in nice and close and spent our time very simply.

My hopes for our new year is to live life simply, maybe get a little healthier and to definitely get a little happier.  Nothing major, just some things I’d like.  And these things sound achievable.

Take care all and welcome to a wonderful new year.

  1. I was so excited to see your post. filled with images of your children, their beautiful faces and the hearts! the sparkler heart was just perfect. I wouldn’t have minded sharing balance with you! I’m not doing so well with it just yet (lol) I like strength, that’s a good STRONG word! another friend of mine picked the work Choice. I sure loved that one because so much of the things in our lives resolves around the choices we make, a choice to eat right, a choice to walk, a choice to blog…like really, every single thing we do is a choice. I thought if we stop to just ask ourselves the question…is this a GOOD CHOICE before everything we do…well, it may be better for our strength and balance too. Love you friend so happy to see you blog today.

    • Thanks chickadee. Oh Choice, what a great word. It may not be my word, but I’m going to work with it too. And balance. They are all things I need right now. The ability stop and think about each of them. 🙂 Thank you for stopping by. I hope to do something weekly and maybe a 52 week photo project of my not so small babies included. You will do fine with your word. I just know it. Lots of love to you too. xo 🙂

  2. Love the pictures! And I think Strength is a Great word choice!! There are so many sides to it, from physical strength, to the strength to stop and be still, what a great word, and it sounds like it fits where you want to take your life!
You didn’t ask, but I’ll tell you anyway cause I like you – my word is Unstoppable 🙂
Here’s to a great year of Strength, Balance and being Unstoppable!

    • Hello there Kate. 🙂 Thank for telling me your word. I should have asked… how rude am I? Ummahh! I like unstoppable. It sounds like you, it really does. We are all going to have a fantastic year. And by strange coincidence I like you too. We should be FB friends…. oh hang on, we already are. 😉 Take care my friend.
